Srividya

श्रीविद्या

The supreme knowledge of the Divine Mother — the most profound and esoteric path of Shakti worship.

The Sacred Science of the Divine Mother

Srividya (श्रीविद्या) is regarded as the highest form of Goddess worship in the Shakta tradition. It is the knowledge (vidya) of Sri — the auspicious, beautiful, and all-powerful Divine Mother in Her form as Lalita Tripurasundari, the beauty of the three worlds.

At the heart of Srividya stands the sacred Sri Yantra (or Sri Chakra) — a precise geometric representation of the cosmos and the body of the Goddess Herself. Through the worship of the Sri Yantra, the chanting of the sacred mantras (especially the Panchadashi and Shodashi), and the practice of internal and external puja, the seeker is gradually led to the realisation of non-dual Consciousness.

Core Elements of Srividya

The path of Srividya beautifully integrates:

It is both a path of intense devotion and the highest non-dual wisdom. The ultimate goal is the recognition that the worshipper, the act of worship, and the Goddess are one.

“The Sri Yantra is the body of the Goddess. To worship it with pure devotion is to worship one’s own true Self.”

In the Tradition of Shyamananda Mandali

Within Shyamananda Mandali, Srividya is transmitted with the utmost purity and reverence under the direct guidance of the Revered Guru and Gurumata. The practices are not merely intellectual or mechanical; they are living currents of grace that transform the sadhaka from within.

Initiation into the mantras and deeper aspects of Srividya is given only according to the readiness and purity of the seeker, always under the compassionate eye of the Guru. This ensures the sanctity of the tradition and the spiritual safety of the practitioner.

Those who feel a deep inner calling towards the path of the Divine Mother are warmly welcomed to approach the Mandali with sincerity and humility.
